25 Times People Matched the Painting They Were Looking At

Stefan Draschan’s quirky photo series finds a little joy in the seemingly mundane

In an ongoing series of portraits, photographer Stefan Draschan takes photos of people matching the artworks they are looking at.

To catalogue his hundreds of shots, Stefan has created a Tumblr site dedicated to the series entitled, People matching Artworks.

Draschan says most of the photos were taken at museums and galleries in Paris, Vienna and Berlin and that while they may seem, ‘too good to be true’, they are not staged but a result of patience and perseverance.

Are You This or Are You That? (15 Photos)

The choice is yours. Pick wisely.

“There are only 2 kinds of people in this world, those that find this blog hilarious and those that have no sense of humor whatsoever.”

Those are the words of Joao Rocha, an art director from Lisbon, Portugal, who previously created the tumblr site, Kim Jong-Il looking at things. In his latest tumblr site, 2 Kinds of People, Rocha humorously groups people into one camp or the other. Headphones or earbuds? Bookmarks or page folds? It’s a fun series and not to be taken too seriously.
