Although impressive hunters in their own right, Bald Eagles are also known for their tendency to poach meals from other predators that have already done the leg work.

While working in San Juan Island National Historic Park, photographer Kevin Ebi witnessed a Bald Eagle swoop in to steal a rabbit from a young fox.

During its act of thievery the eagle accidentally snared the fox as well and the two tussled in mid-air before the eagle made off with the meal. Ebi documented the dramatic even in an incredible sequence of images which you can find in the video embedded below.

You can learn more about the story and see more photos from the battle on his website here. For prints, books and more amazing nature photography, check out Ebi’s work at the links below.

Photographer Captures the First 30 Days of a Bunny’s Life

When Ashraful Arefin’s pet bunny gave birth to four beautiful babies he knew he had to capture all of their special moments and ‘firsts’.

When photographer Ashraful Arefin’s pet bunny ‘Tooni’ gave birth to four beautiful babies he knew he had to document their growth from newborns to babies, capturing all of their special ‘firsts’ and moments like the first time they opened their eyes or wiggled their feet.

Arefin shared a series of photos on Bored Panda of the first 30 days. You can see the complete gallery here and also see more from the Bangladesh-based photographer at the links below.

Wally the Rabbit has the Best Ears Ever (10 Photos)

Meet Wally, an adorable Angora rabbit with arguably the greatest ears of all time.

Meet Wally, an adorable Angora rabbit born in July 2014. Wally and his owner Molly live in Massachusetts where they have gained a huge following on Instagram (@wally_and_molly) with over 150,000 followers.

You’ll understand why after seeing the gallery below. Those ears are just too amazing!

As for Angoras, they are one of the oldest types of domestic rabbit, originating in Ankara (historically known as Angora), which is located in present day Turkey. You can read more about these cute critters on Wikipedia.

Lenticular Street Art by Roa

ROA is an artist from Ghent, Belgium. His artwork can be seen on the streets and in galleries across Europe and the United States and he is best known for his black and white animal street art. Back in 2009, ROA created an incredible lenticular street artwork that showed both the insides and outsides of a rabbit. As the viewer walked from one side to the other, the artwork shifted as well, showing either its furry coat or circulatory system.

The artwork was located on Curtain Road between Great Eastern Street and Old Street in London, England. You can find all angles below. I also put together an animated gif of the piece at the end of the post.

To see more from ROA check out his tumblr and Flickr page. I’ve also embedded a video from Warholian that divulges some of this thoughts about his artwork and shows newer stuff from a recent gallery show.
