There’s a Venomous Snake in this Photo

Even when you know where it is it’s still hard to see

Did you see it? It’s there, hiding in plain sight. A venomous copperhead snake (Agkistrodon contortrix). Take another look, see if you can spot the little guy.

If you found it, well done! Now watch your step. Copperheads tend to ‘freeze’ instead of slithering away, and as a result, many bites occur from people unknowingly stepping on or near them (source). If you’re still having trouble spotting him, check out the outlined photo below.
