Philippine Sea (Dec. 4, 2006) – An F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the Strike Fighter Squadron One Zero Two (VFA-102) speeds up for a supersonic fly-by as part of an air power demonstration aboard USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63). VFA-102, which operates from Naval Air Facility Atsugi, Japan, is one of the nine squadrons and detachments assigned to Carrier Air Wing Five and currently embarked aboard Kitty Hawk during a regularly scheduled deployment.
